PURPOSE:To surely carving a suitable pattern on the surface of a metal which has even a high hardness so that cutting work or the like is difficult to be made, by shooting hard particles for removing metal parts so that the pattern is carved in the surface of the metal. CONSTITUTION:A mask in which a desired pattern is cut is laid on the surface of a hard metal. Then, hard particles having a diameter smaller than 500mum are shot to the surface of the metal through the mask under a pressure higher than 2kg/cm<2>, and therefore, metal parts are removed along the pattern in the mask, thereby the desired pattern is carved. |
