APPARATUS TO LUBRICATE OUTBOARD ENGINE

PURPOSE:To make big end bearings around upper and lower adjacent crank pins lubricated constantly and unfailingly by providing an oil supply chamber above the said adjacent crank pins. CONSTITUTION:When an engine is run, an oil pump 38 is driven, feeding lubricant oil to an upper oil supply chamber 40 and a lower oil supply chamber 41 through an oil feed path 39. The oil fed to the chamber 40 is supplied to big end bearings 26 around a first crank pin 22 and a second crank pin 23 through a main oil supply path 42 and branch oil supply paths 43 and 44. The oil fed to the chamber 41 is supplied to the big end bearings 26 around a third crank pin 24 and a fourth crank pin 25 through a main oil supply path 45 and branch oil supply paths 46 and 47. Namely, by thus utilizing the space separated from crank chambers by a sealing 28 as upper and lower oil supply chambers 40 and 41, constant lubrication can be ensured without needing to provide complicated oil supply paths to a crank case 12 and a crank shaft 13.
