PURPOSE:To reduce further the number of samples which constitute an editable unit, by recording on a tilt magnetic track so that the adjacent part of a digital audio signal of the 5th and 1st subcycles of an adjacent main cycle is separately reproduced. CONSTITUTION:Digital video signals for one field are recorded on a video track part TV of one line of a tilt magnetic track T. Digital audio signals for the main cycle of 2002 samples are set as a unit corresponding to digital video signals for 2.5 fields, and recorded on an audio track TA of the tilt magnetic track T. For every five fields of digital video signals, namely for every five lines of tilt magnetic tracks, the recording is performed via a guard band (g) so that adjacent part of digital audio signals of the 5th and 1st cycles of an adjacent main cycle can be reproduced separately. Also, the waveform of a controlling signal CTL is made different from others so that a pulse P and pulse P' can be reproduced separately. |
