PURPOSE:To move a cleaning member by an adequate extent corresponding to a image processing speed and to improve the efficiency of the cleaning member, by varying the extent of the displacement of the cleaning member according to the image processing speed. CONSTITUTION:When a photosensitive drum is set to a high rotation speed and copying operation is started, a Q1 trigger signal is sent at time t1 and a motor 12 is driven by Q1, R3, R4, and C1 through R5 and a transistor driver Q3 for a time TL to feed a web 2 during the period. Similarly, when next copying operation is started, the Q1 trigger signal is sent at time t2 and the web 2 is fed for the time TL. Then, when the drum is set to a low speed and copying operation is started, a Q2 trigger signal is sent at time t3 and the motor 12 is driven through R11 and Q3 for time TS to feed the web 2 according to the low speed of the photosensitive drum. Thus, the efficiency of the cleaning member is improved. |
