PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of attaching and detaching works of die exchange at the time of changing works, by making a die holder equipped with plural different form rolling dies performable the indexing work to a sliding base and constituting the distance between the die holder and sliding base under a freely adjustable condition. CONSTITUTION:When dies 11 and 11a are exchanged for dies 14 and 14a, die holder supports 15, 16, 15a, and 16a are released from the locked condition and each piston rod 17 is extended by a corresponding hydraulic cylinder, and die holders 10 and 10a are separated from sliding bases 9 and 9a. Then, the die holders 10 and 10a are released from the locked condition and rotated by supplying an oil pressure to a hydraulic rotary actuator 21. The die holders 10 and 10a are forced to make an angle indexing of 90 deg. through a gear 22 and each new die 14 and 14a is set upward or downward in a prescribed manner. Subsequently, each die holder 10 and 10a is locked and sliding bases 9 and 9a are locked after the die holders 10 and 10a are shifted to the sliding bases 9 and 9a. |
