Plastics nut with nut and assembly flanges

The assembly flange forms part of the flange (31,32) enclosing the nut (36) and the nut moves axially in relation to flange but can be pressed onto the assembly flange, and one of the holding parts of the nut has a snap hook (34,35) to engage behind the component concerned. The nut is non-twistably guided by means of the flange and is pressed towards the assembly flange by means of an elastic support element, using a spring zone to compensate for the variable thickness of the component, nut and nut flange once the nut bears on the component. The nut flange is made of a number of segments (32,33), each fitted with a snap hook and encloses the nut as a sleeve, nut and flange both fitted with end stops to limit their axial travel. Nut and flange are joined by a plastics band to give a single piece here thrusting the nut towards the assembly flange.
