PURPOSE:To obtain a wire dot printer characterized by high speed printing, wherein an ink attaching mechanism is provided for every color in a printing head, a plurality of wires are provied in every ink attaching mechanism, ink ribbons are not required, and mixing is not produced. CONSTITUTION:In an ink type wire dot printer which performs printing by directly supplying inks to the tips of wires, the inks are independently supplied for every color. Namely, ink supply ports 1Y, 1M and 1C for yellow, magenta, and cyan, ink flow paths 2Y, 2M, and 2C, and ink recovering ports 3Y, 3M, and 3C are provided between an ink supply guide 4 and a tip guide 5 in a printing head. Thus ink attaching mechanisms of the inks are formed. A plurality of the wires are arraned to each ink attaching mechanism as wire lines 6Y, 6M and 6C. |
