The system comprises a tool test machine (1), a test specimen (2), a test specimen support (3), a force sensory analysis system (4), and a travel-time sensory analysis system (5). The system is connected to an EDP system (7) which includes a computer (8) and calculation routines (9) for calculating material characteristic values, through interface (6). The test machine has a control mechanism (10) for applying a force to the specimen which is recorded by the two sensory analysis systems.
