Electric toaster for bread and meat filling

The toaster has separate sections to cook the filling and the bread. The flat filling, e.g. meat, fish, is held in a clamping cage (50) and is dropped into one section of the toaster to set vertically between vertical heating elements. The bread slide or cut bread roll is dropped vertically into another section of the toaster. At the end of the preset toasting time the bread and filling are automatically raised for ease of removal from the toaster. The cooking times for the bread and filling are separately set. The vertical cooking of the filling enables the fat to drain into a collecting tray and for the filling to get a char grilled finish.
