A coulter for an agricultural machine comprises a coulter tip (1) attached to a support stem (2) formed from two adjacent flat bars by being located in the gap between the bars. Both sides of the coulter tip (1), are provided with a depression (4), the shape of which corresponds to the shape of a lower end portion of a respective one of said bars. The front and rear sides (4a) of each depression (4) provide support for the front and the rear side surface of the stem (2). The bars are preferably firmly interconnected by a bridge member (5) close to the top of the coulter tip when it is in its attached position. A spring pin (11) in bores (6) connects the coulter tip (1) between the bars of the stem (2). A seed funnel (8) may be fitted to the coulter tip at upper and lower locations (9, 10). <IMAGE> |
