PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium capable of preventing forgery, eliminating illegal reuse of a finished medium, and recording with high density, and also to provide its read-out method by which the authenticity can be accurately discriminated. SOLUTION: The information recording part 3 formed on a substrate 2 is provided with a magnetic layer containing at least a hard one; the fixed magnetic information that consists of plural minute recessed and projected parts arrayed along the scanning direction of the magnetic head is recorded on the magnetic layer, with the same variable magnetic information as the fixed one synchronized to and recorded on the constituent hard magnetic layer, and thereby providing the information recording medium 1. |
