PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the quantity of hardware by rotating an optical signal by a loop-like buffer, consisting of plural optical couplers and fiber delay lines, so as to obtain plural delay outputs having different delay times and covering the wave length of an optical cell signal to prevent the collision of the signals of optical cells, so as to obtain the delay quantity of the number of wave length X the number of optical capsules. SOLUTION: An input optical cell is branched by a 2×2 optical coupler 32-0 to input one to a cell-selecting means 37-1 and to make the other to rotate in a loop buffer to be inputted to a 1×2 optical ooupler to repeat branch and rotation. The cells branched by each coupler are outputted from a loop buffer 36-0 respectively with prescribed timings. The cell-selecting means selects a prescribed cell to send it to a 4×1 optical coupler 38-0. At the time of delaying a cell by not less than a part of four cells, the loop buffer rotates at least one round around the cell and a wavelength is changed by a wavelength converting means 34-1, to avoid collision with a newly inputted cell and the buffer 36-0 is simultaneously enabled to rotate to obtain many delay outputs. |
