The collar, which is formed by a thin-walled, injection-moulded plastic tubular piece (1), has an internal diameter (d) which corresponds to the maximum tolerance limit of the external diameter of the cable conduits which are to be connected. The collar has in each case one longitudinal rib (2) along three internal envelope lines which are distributed uniformly over the circumference. The diameter (a) of a cylindrical surface which is tangential to these ribs (2) corresponds to the minimum tolerance limit of the external diameter of the conduits. The collar clamps firmly onto the conduits, with a slight friction pressure of the ribs, but can be displaced freely by hand. Inclined ramps (2a) on the rib ends make it easier to push the collar onto the conduits. <IMAGE>
