PURPOSE:To make any repair work safely and inexpensively by injecting a sealing material from a sealing material injecting tool in higher pressure than the internal pressure of the valve after fitting a sealing bush onto the outer periphery of the gland bush and attaching the sealing material injecting tool on the sealing bush. CONSTITUTION:In case a valve gland packing 3 leaks, a sealing bush 10 is fitted to the outer periphery of a gland bush 4, a sealing material injecting tool 11A is attached to the sealing bush 10, and a sealing material is injected into the gland packing 3 from the sealing material injecting tool 11A by making use of a sealing material injecting gun with a higher pressure than the internal pressure of the valve. Hereby, it is possible to stop the leakage by neither interrupting a plant operation nor drilling a hole reaching to the gland packing 3 from the outside of the gland, enabling economical and safe repair to be performed. |
