For the Contracting State : AT 1. A process for preparing 2-(Z)-[Benzal]-cycloheptane-1 derivatives having the general formula : see diagramm : EP0095719,P11,F1 wherein : A represents an oxygen atom or a hydroxyimino group, characterized in that one subjects 2-(E)-[benzal]-cycloheptane-1-one having the formula : see diagramm : EP0095719,P11,F2 in an inert solvent to a photoisomerization by irradiation with light of a wave length of 200 to 600 nm and thereafter one gains the obtained 2-(Z)-[benzal]-cycloheptane-1-one (formula I with A = oxygen atom) and/or one converts it in a manner known per se into the corresponding oxime 2-(Z)-[benzal]-cycloheptane-1-[(E)-oxime] (formula I with A = hydroxyimino group). |
