PURPOSE:To enhance humidity resistance without impairing good resistance to plasticizer of an epoxy resin, by using for a binder component a resin obtd. by copolymerizing a polymerizable monomer with a polymerizable unsatd. ester derived frm an epoxy resin and a polymerizable unsatd. carboxylic acid. CONSTITUTION:At least one polymerizable monomer contg. styrene or its deriv. is copolymerized with a polymerizable unsatd. ester obtd. by esterifying the epoxy resin with the polymerizable unsatd. carboxylic acid, and the obtd. resin is added as a binder. As the epoxy resin, various types of aromatic and alicyclic resins or their mixtures, such as bisphenol A glycidyl ether type or novolak glycidyl ether type are usable. Such resins having >=20 deg.C, especially 50 deg.C m.p. are preferable. When its M.P. is lower than 20 deg.C, the resistance to plasticizer of the resin becomes deficient. As the polymerizable unsatd. caboxylic acid olefin monocarboxylic acids, acetylene monocarboxylic acid, higher unsatd. monocarboxylic acids, etc. can be used. |
