PURPOSE:To retard very much the progress of the dirt of the carrier surface due to a toner, by constituting a developer with the mixture of the carrier and the toner consisting essentially of an epoxy resin which does not include components of low-polymerization degree practically. CONSTITUTION:The mixture ratio of the toner to the carrier is 0.5:99.5-50:50 by weight, and is varied in accordance with the consumption of the toner in use. The toner and the carrier are rubbed together in this developer, and the toner, namely, the developer is allowed to hold the electric charge of a certain polarity. The toner includes the epoxy resin, which does not include components of low- polymerization degree practically, as essential components, namely, a binding resin and pigments such as carbon black, calcium carbonate, and dyes such as nigrosine, organic complexes, mixed as required and has 5-30mu average particle size. |
