PURPOSE:To join both plates fully-automatically with high efficiency by controlling numerically without applying heat, by fitting a projecting part formed on one metallic plate into a chamfered part fitting hole formed on the other metallic plate, and crushing it. CONSTITUTION:A hole 1 is provided by executing pierce-working to a metallic plate A by a press, the plate A is moved to other die position of the press, and a chamfered part 3 by plastic deformation is provided on the circumference edge of the hole of the exposed face side of the plate material. Subsequently, a projecting part 5 having outside diameter dimensions fitted into the hole 1 is worked on a metallic plate B by plastic deformation by the press. Thereafter, the plates A, B are jointed together by a robot, etc. as shown in the figure, are positioned at a caulking press die position, the projecting part 5 is crushed between a punch and a die having an opposed parallel plane, respectively, and a metallic flow part is projected to the chamfered prt 3 by plstic deformation. |
