PURPOSE:To enable an efficient supply of various BMC material by arranging a material pushing-in ram and a hopper piston roughly at the right angle in a material pushing-in casing communicating with a material receiving port of the surrounding wall of a screw cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A molding material 20 shaped in a bulk, plate or the like is dumped into a hopper casing 6. Then, after the closing of a hopper lid 13, as a hopper piston 7 is advanced with an air cylinder 9 while a material pushing-in ram 5 arranged roughly at the right angle is reciprocated repeatedly with an air cylinder 8, the head port 20a of the molding material sent to a material pushing-in casing 4 is divided with the advance of the ram 5 with the width less than two-thirds of the diameter of a screw 1 and forced ahead the rotation of the screw 1. Thus, it is fed smoothly. This eliminates the need for applying a large forcing pressure with the hopper piston thereby enabling continuous and smooth supply of the molding material without extremely hardening it in the hopper casing. |
