PURPOSE:To evacuate the outside of a heat pipe of the solar heat collector with a high degree of vacuum while the inner surface of the pipe is kept clean. CONSTITUTION:When the heat pipe is baked, the outside of the heat pipe is evacuated with a high degree of vacuum while the heat pipe 1 is evacuated by introducing or filling an inert gas thereinto or by connecting a vacuum pump to an open end 1a of the heat pipe, or after the heat pipe is evacuated with a high degree of vacuum. In this case, the open end 1a is temporarily sealed. Further, as regards the inert gas to be introduced into the heat pipe, the so called foaming gas which contains reducible hydrogen and which can be handled safely may be used. |
