PURPOSE:To prevent a scatter of a recovered developer due to movement during maintenance inspection and extreme uneven distribution in a device, by arranging a member which specifies the free movement of the developer in the abutting line of a cleaning member in the internal space of a removed developer recovering container. CONSTITUTION:Partitioning plates 161-163 are arranged in a housing 12 at adequate intervals in the slit direction of a slit opening to specify the free movement of the developer in the contacting direction of the cleaning member. Namely, even when the cleaning device 11 is inclined, the developers in the spaces partitioned by the respective partitioning plates are inclined in the respective spaces, so the amount of the inclination is small. Therefore, no developer overflows from the slit opening and when the device is returned to the horizontal level, the inclination is eliminated easily. |
