PURPOSE:To obtain a toner image transfer heat roll which is excellent in its heat transmitting property, by inserting a hollow mandrel provided with a lot of perforation, into a cylindrical die, injecting a liquid silicon rubber composite containing BN from a lot of injecting ports of the outside circumference of the die, and orienting the BN in the diameter direction. CONSTITUTION:A liquid silicon rubber composite containing 25-35wt% BN in the whole composite together with a reinforcing material such as diatom earth, etc., silicon oil, etc. in normal temperature hardening or thermosetting silicon rubber is prepared. Subsequently, this silicon rubber composite is injected from an injecting port 1 by use of a cylindrical die 3 into which a hollow roll mandrel 5 provided with a lot of injecting ports 1 radially on the outside circumference, and provided with a lot of perforation 4 in the center is inserted from the inserting port, is discharged from the mandrel 5, and the BN is oriented in the diameter direction of the die 3. In this state, the composite is cured. In this way, a heat roll which is excellent in its heat conductivity, namely, excellent in fixation efficiency of a toner is obtained. |
