PURPOSE:To obtain a light integrally molded rim of sufficient strength by forming slits at regular intervals in the lateral direction not reaching both lug sections of a prepreg sheet, in which one direction pull-alignment reinforced fiber sheet is impregnated with a matrix, to the central section of the prepreg sheet and drawing the center by a shaping die. CONSTITUTION:The slits 5 at approximately regular intervals not reaching both lug sections 7 of the prepreg sheet are formed, and a material is prepared by winding the sheet in predetermined thickness up to a cylindrical form 8 capable of wrapping the outer circumference of a die for molding the rim. The cylindrical material is fast stuck to the rim shaping die while forming stacked sections to the slit sections of a prepreg by covering the outer circumference of a part, in which die parts 9, 10 for molding the rim are connected, with the cylindrical material and drawing the central section, and heated and pressed. Accordingly, a rim section is molded, and the rim section of the disk wheel can be obtained by removing the die. It is preferable that warp 6 is fitted to the sheet 2 in order to prevent the breakage of fibers for reinforcement. |
