<p>The lectern reading table is supported by a leg and is designed so that a person may read without discomfort while lying down beneath it. The top of the lectern consists of a frame supporting a wire mesh, which can be folded up, into a rectangular or diamond shape and has one or more legs enabling the frame to be tilted, swivelled and adjusted in height. The documents being read are placed on the mesh. The frame has attachments for cloths fixed by one edge to the outer edge of the larger sides of the frame. A cloth may be pulled over the reading surface and the lectern may be used as a sun-shade.</p> |
