PURPOSE:To enable fluctuation of angle advancing characteristics to be prevented by comparing reference voltage with trapezoidal wave output having the front edge at the max. angle advancing position and the rear edge at the min. angle advancing position. CONSTITUTION:The front edge of trapezoidal wave output is at the max. angle advancing position and the rear edge at the min. angle advancing position. As the rotational frequency of an engine is increased, the wave height value of the trapezoidal wave output is increased. In low speed, the trapezoidal wave output does not coincide with the reference voltage V(R). In this case, ignition occurs at the min. angle advancing position. In medium speed, the trapezoidal wave output coincides with the reference voltage at the slant portion and ignition occurs at the coincidence point. In high speed rotation, the trapezoidal wave output coincides with the reference voltage at the max. angle advancing position. Thus, angle advancing exceeding the max. angle advancing point and angle delaying exceeding the min. angle advancing point can be prevented and the fluctuation of angle advancing characteristics can be prevented. |
