PURPOSE:To eject automatically precipitate produced during chemical treatment of a photosensitive material, such as photographic films, by installing a precipitate flow route in the direction of flow of a processing soln. on the middle lowest part of the bottom plate of a processing bath, and a precipitate recovery part in the bath. CONSTITUTION:A reducing bath 1 opening upside comprises the bottom plate 2 bent like a gutter and side plates 3, and the inside of the plate 2 is provided with a large number of protruded twigs 21 bent arcuately along the plate 2, serving as guides for facilitating traveling of the film 11. Notches 22 of proper width are formed on the center of the twigs 21 in the longitudinal direction, precipitate produced during reduction processing is swept away by a reducing soln. flowing down through the notches 22, and drawn out of the outlet 24 of an overflow pipe 23, so it does not accumulate in the bath 1. Accordingly, it does not attach to the film 11 passing through the bath 1, and cleaning of the bath 1 is easy. |
