PURPOSE:To easily mount and remove an oil strainer while simplifying a passage of lubricating oil, by interposing the oil strainer to be held between the cover member of an oil pan case and the opening edge of a suction port of an oil pump. CONSTITUTION:An opening 15 is formed to a left side case 2a of a crank case 2, opposite to the opening face of a suction port of an oil pump 4, and said opening 15 is closed by a cover member 16. When the member 16 is pressed by tightening a bolt 18, an oil strainer 20 is interposed between said member 16 and the opening face of the suction port of a pump main unit 6 and held by resiliently resetting force of a mesh cylinder 21 between these member 16 and the unit 6. |
