PURPOSE:To ensure a fail-safe function without having a conflict between transmission of a control code and the control operation of a controller, by providing a monitor timer for each device to be controlled. CONSTITUTION:A monitor timer 26 is provided to a main memory in a computer 2 to monitor a control code which is transmitted to a controller 5 as well as to inform the monitor result to a CPU22. The timer 26 has a function to apply an interruption to the CPU22 when the monitor limit time elapses. That is, an interruption is applied to the CPU22 by the timer 26 when the monitor limit time elapses even though the interruption 24 or a state line 23 has a fault when the control code is transmitted. Therefore it is possible for the CPU22 to detect the fault and to reset the control code. |
