<p>The pavement floor comprises joints (1) inside grooves (2) between slabs (3). The top face (4) of the multi-layer assembly simulates natural material forming an integral part of the slab, and cannot therefore be separated. It has physical properties that make it resistant to erosion and wear by long use. The vertical slab face (5) has the necessary thickness for imposed loads and rainwater is shed between the joints leaving dry the top used surface.</p> |
