<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of the fuel tank, durability and reliability thereof are high, and to improve its productivity by molding and processing an upper body and a lower body by a glass fiber reinforced resin material, stacking and attaching predetermined metallic foil to each inner surface and sealing each joining section in a seamless manner and integrally molding them. CONSTITUTION:The upper body 3' and the lower body 4' forming a fuel tank 7' proper made of the resin are each molded and processed in a prescribed manner by using the glass fiber reinforced polypropylene material 8, the metallic foil 10 for corrosion protection is stacked and attached to the inner surfaces of the upper body 3' and the lower body 4', and pressure-bonded through a heating stamp press device, and a rocking preventive body 12 is joined with the bottom of the lower body 4' through a welder 13. The joining flange section 5' of the upper body 3' and the joining flange section 6' of the lower body 4' are brought into contact, and joined and molded integrally through the welder 13 so that a sealing material 11 made of the resin is fitted to the circumferential sections to seal both flange sections in a seamless manner, thus forming the fuel tank 7' proper made of the resin.</p> |
