Rotary spray jet water supply for dishwashing machine - uses axial water supply through lower arm support and forms vertical free jet of water to supply upper arm

The water supply is through the lower rotary spray arm and is designed to minimise friction and leakage about the lower spray arm and to provide a free jet of water to supply the upper rotary arm. The lower arm support permits water flow to the lower arm and has slots of elliptical shape to form the vertical water jet supplying the upper arm. The arm support is carried on a steel pin which is supported axially in the centre of the water inlet duct by webs radiating inward from the water inlet wall. Clearance is provided between the water inlet and the upward jet slots to allow water to divide between the lower arm and the vertical jet guide.
