PURPOSE:To conduct both-sided copying and multiple copying by one copying machine by disposing a temporary stock portion between reversing paths for reversing a copy sheet, one side of which has already had a copy image, in 360 deg. to again make a copy on the same side, and further providing stock path switching means and paper feed means. CONSTITUTION:In case of conducting multiple copying on one side, a copy sheet fed from a cassette 14 is passed through a transport path 16 and a registration roller 15. An image is transferred to the copy sheet at a transfer portion 9a and fixed thereto by a fixing roller 18. The copy sheet is guided to a switching guide 23 and held by guide rollers 20 in a guide duct 19. After that, the switching guide 23 is switched, so that the sheet is transported from a duct 19 through the first reversing duct 22, a belt 24, the second switching guide 25, a guide plate 27 and the third switching guide 29 to be stocked in a cassette 28. The guide 29 is switched so that the sheet in the cassette is passed through a paper feed roller 30, a transport guide 39 and a registration roller 15 to again make a copy on the same side of the sheet. In case of both-sided copying, after making a copy on one side of a sheet, the sheet is reversed in the second reversing duct 46 by switching the guide 25 to make a copy on the other side of the sheet. After the completion of desired copying, the guide 23 is switched to feed the sheet to a tray 45. |
