PURPOSE:To take out or enlarge an original under transmission, by displaying the read part of the original. CONSTITUTION:An original is inserted to a reading part, and a transmission key is pushed to set the original at the position of a reading sensor by a roll. When the reading scan is started to the original, the length of the read original is displayed at a position display 4 in the form of a bar graph. As a result, an operator can understand the extent of transmission of the original. It is possible for the display 4 to understand the rotational frequency of the original feed motor to perform a display. Furthermore the length of desired transmission is fed to a facsimile device with correspondence to the display 4. This enables the transmission of the prescribed length only. |
