The transmission consists of a gearbox (1) with a spherical differential (2) in a common casing (3). The gearbox has a tubular output shaft (5) driving two central drive shafts (7,16). A sliding dog-clutch (4) is interposed between the gearbox and differential. The dog-clutch has a splined ring (25) fixed to the shaft (7) with a second ring (28) fixed to the outer gear carrier (12) of the differential. The meshing slide (17) of the dog-clutch engages or disengages the differential, operated through the lever (18).
