<p>The hydraulic machine cuts a fish e.g. into slices and attaches the slices to a succession of hooks tied to a main fishing line, being designed to bait deep sea fishing tackle e.g.. A pair of endless belts (4,4a) feed a fish via a 'V' shaped inlet (11) to a descending ram (17) actuated cutter (18), the distance between the belts being adjusted by a second ram (10). The fish contacts a stop (15) causing the hydraulic pressure to rise and trigger the descent of the cutter. A pair of linearly reciprocating plates driven by a third ram (35) feed the line towards the cutting station and at right angles to the fish feed, being guided by outer paralle plates (28,28a).</p> |
