PURPOSE:To constitute so that a temperature control characteristic is not deteriorated at the time of reset, etc., by using an infrared-ray sensor unit consisting of a pyroelectric infrared-ray sensor, a chopper mechanism and a reference temperature measuring heat sensible element, as a surface temperature detecting means of a heat roll. CONSTITUTION:An infrared-ray sensor unit 1 installed in the vicinity of a heat roll consists of a pyroelectric infrared-ray sensor 5, a chopper mechanism 10 and a reference temperature measuring heat sensible element 7. A titled device is provided with this sensor unit 1, a synthesizing means 33 for synthesizing a temperature detecting value of the heat roll, which is detected by the sensor 5, and a temperature detecting value of the chopper mechanism 10, a means 36 for comparing values of a set temperature signal generating means 37 of the heat roll and the synthesizing means 33, a latch means 32 for holding a signal from the comparing means 36 at the time of rise of a clock pulse signal, and a control means 38 for turning on and off a heater 22 of the heat roll in accordance with a comparing signal held by said latch means 32. |
