PREPARATION OF SYNTHETIC RESIN PIPE WITH FAUCET

PURPOSE:To obtain pipe of synthetic resin with faucet free from buckling by considerably reducing the production of unsatisfactory products through such an arrangement wherein part of a rod-like heater is constructed to be a low wattage area and the end part of a synthetic resin pipe is unevenly heated and softened. CONSTITUTION:A rod-like heater 40 is composed so that its top end part of a specified length becomes a low wattage area 41, and this rod-like heater 40 is inserted into the end part 11 of a synthetic resin pipe 10 so that its high wattage area 42 contributes to the heating of a part 12' which substantially becomes the faucet 12 of the synthetic resin pipe 10, and its low wattage area 41 contributes to the heating of a part 13' including such a part that becomes the shoulder part 13 of the faucet 12. Said end part 11 of the synthetic resin pipe is unevenly heated and softened in the direction of its axis and the intended synthetic resin pipe with faucet is obtained by molding the end part 11 by a metal mold for forming faucet 30 with pressure applied.
