<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an instrument for a recording liquid excellent in use durability and capacity stability and with high reliability, by constituting the area contacted with the recording liquid of the instrument for the recording liquid of a rubber material of which the haize is a specific value or less. CONSTITUTION:The area contacted with a recording liquid of an instrument for the recording liquid is constituted of a rubber material of which the haize value is 1.0% or less. Said haize value is obtained by a test method wherein a test piece is immersed in 20 times by wt. of the test piece of a test solution comprising a composition consisting of 40wt% of ethylene glycol, 1.5wt% of urea and 58.5wt% of pure water at 60 deg.C for 3 months and the haize value of the test solution is calculated. As the instrument for the recording liquid, recording instruments such as a fountain pen, a felt pen, an aqueous ball-point pen or an ink jet recording apparatus, a container for storing ink such as an jet recording apparatus, a container for storing ink such as an ink bottle, an ink container, an ink cassette or an ink cartridge and ink transfer piping etc. are designated. The rubber material of which the measured haize value is 1.0% or less has the good characteristics as a rubber member excellent in ink resistance and eluting no impurity mainly causing the modification of ink or the generation of a precipitate or a suspended substance in ink.</p> |
