The invention relates to an apparatus for metered dispensing of a solid medium into a body of water containing fish, in particular for the metered dispensing of a feedstuff. It is distinguished by a chamber having an upper inlet opening which is connectable to the outlet of the silo, and also has an opening on its underside, such that at this opening a plate is arranged in such a way that an annular outlet opening is formed between a peripheral area surrounding the opening of the chamber and a surface side of the plate facing said peripheral area but arranged at a distance from it, and that the plate is connected to a vibrator.
