PURPOSE:To provide the titled foamed article consisting of polyurethane having a packing ratio in a predetermined range, free from any detects such as voids and color irregularity at the surface of a skin and favorable in appearance. CONSTITUTION:A foamable reactive raw liquid containing at least one foaming agent (e.g., trichlorofluoromethane), a reaction accelerator (e.g., triethylenediamine) and additives (e.g., a foam-regulating agent, a filler reinforcing agent, a pigment) is mixed under high-pressure collision with either one or both of a raw liquid containing (A) a compound having an active hydrogen atom (e.g., a propylene oxide adduct of sorbitol) as a main constituent and a raw liquid containing (B) a polyisocyanate (e.g., 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate) as a main constituent, the resultant mixed liquid is injected into a mold maintained at a fixed temperature to obtain an objective foamed product having a packing ratio A= rhoo/rhoj (wherein rhoo is the overall density of the foamed article, and rhoj is the minimum density required for obtaining the foamed article) in the range of formula I or formula II. |
