<p>A device and method for automatically removing fingernail polish from one or more fingernails at a time. In a preferred embodiment, the device has a rotating brush (22) with soft bristles (24) contained in a compartment (18) having fingernail polish removing fluid (30). The fingers from which fingernail polish is to be removed are placed through an opening (26) near the top of the compartment (18) so that the fingernails press against the bristles (24) of the brush (22). The brush (22), rotated by an electric motor (68), brushes the fingernail polish removing fluid (30) against the fingernails and removes the fingernail polish. Fluid (30) is kept within the compartment (18) by means of a flexible diaphragm (38) over the opening (26) having slits (40) therein for the fingers.</p> |
