PURPOSE:To perform the desired characteristic test within a short period of stabilizing time for a circuit which ordinarily requires a longer time for stabilizing characteristic by executing a coarse adjustment until the characteristic value evaluation range is obtained and thereafter executing a fine adjustment to the same range. CONSTITUTION:A test measuring unit 4 performs characteristic value measurement by fetching a measuring signal from a module M through a probe unit 3 and outputs such data to a control processing unit 1. The unit 1 performs processing for such data, judges whether the coarse adjustment is completed or not. When it is not yet completed, it gives a trimming amount calculated by such data processing to the trimming unit 6, causing it to perform the required trimming (coarse adjustment). This trimming is repeated until an electrical characteristic of the object circuit reaches the specified value. If the characteristic value does not fall within the specified evaluation range within the evaluation time, the trimming (coarse adjustment) and measurement are repeated until it falls within the evaluation range. As explained above, the characteristic adjustment can be repeated for the object circuit without waiting for the stabilization time. |
