PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for installing a pressure-receiving plate for slope protection designed for safe and labor-saving operation without requiring direct work of workers. SOLUTION: A holding section 1 pivoting around three shafts at right angles to each other and capable of adjusting vertical inclination, oscillation in the right-left direction and horizontal inclination in the right-left direction by a hydraulic cylinder is provided to the front end of an arm 13 having a rising, falling and expansion device provided to the body 11 mounted on a crawler traveling device 12 in a turntable manner, a pressure-receiving plate 30 installed on the slope is mounted on the holding section 1 and is conveyed to an execution site, the vertical inclination, oscillation in the right-left direction and horizontal inclination (α,β,γ) of the holding section 1 in the right-left direction are adjusted, and the pressure-receiving plate 30 is installed at a specific position on the slope by the rising, falling and expansion device of the arm 13.
