PURPOSE:To decrease the mounting area and number of components, to reduce the number of adjusting positions and the effect of noise, by AD-converting an analog video signal and an envelope voltage of this analog video signal and processing them as digital signals. CONSTITUTION:An envelope voltage 52 is extracted from the analog video signal 51 at an envelope detecting circuit 501 and converted into the digital signal 54 at an AD-conversion circuit 503. Further, the analog video signal 51 is converted into a digital signal 53 at an A-D conversion circuit 502. An output of the A-D conversion circuits 502, 503 is latched in latch circuits 507, 508 with a timing pulse 58 in synchronizing with a picture element output respectively. An output signal of the latch circuits 507, 508 is taken as a readout address of the 1st storage circuit 504. On the other hand, a quantized value corresponding to the envelope voltage and the video signal voltage is stored in each address of this storage circuit 504 in advance as digital information, and the digital video signal is outputted with the output of this storage circuit 504. |
