The invention relates to a pressure container which has double walls on all sides and consists of an inner container = primary container and an outer container = secondary container which, by virtue of its special design, carries out sealing monitoring hydrostatically during operation and which can be subjected to the legally required liquid-pressure test at any time and in a simple, cost-saving manner, without emptying the contents, with the aid of a special device. As is illustrated in the drawing (Figure 4), the object is achieved in that the interior = vapour space of the primary container is connected in a pressure-conducting manner to the upper pressure space of a membrane-controlled (diaphragm-controlled) valve, and the annular gap space between the primary and secondary containers is connected in a pressure-conducting manner to the lower pressure space of the same membrane-controlled valve. The membrane controls a liquid pressure-control valve, since it conveys liquid (as a function of the vapour space pressure in the primary container) via a liquid pump and a liquid balancing container into the annular gap space as long as the pressure is equalised at the "level of the required test pressure" for the "liquid pressure test" of the outer container. The invention is mainly used for simplification and saving costs during the liquid pressure test of pressure containers in accordance with the legal requirements (regulations) of the Pressure Container Order. <IMAGE>
