The current in the magnetic coil of a magnetic torque generator in a satellite is stabilised in that an input signal can be supplied via a summation point to a convertor with a constant delay which converts the input signal by scaled conversion corresponding to its rate of change, in that a limiter and an integrator follow the convertor in series, and in that the output signal of the integrator can be supplied both to the summation point and to the magnetic torque generator.
