PURPOSE:To provide the titled recorder in which the rise-up at the start of jetting ink droplets is fast and clogging of a nozzle hole can be prevented, by covering a nozzle part by a wet body in the condition wherein the nozzle part and the wet body make contact with each other at the time of stopping the jetting of the ink droplets. CONSTITUTION:When completing printing, a slidable base 17 is moved on a carriage 16 in the condition wherein the ink droplets 7 are jetted from an ink jet head 6, whereby the nozzle part 13 is brought into contact with the wet body 15. After the jetting of the ink droplets 7 from the head 6 is interrupted, a solenoid valve 4 is closed to stop the supply of an ink to the head 6. The wet body 15 is in a sponge form or felt form, and is constantly wetted by the ink 2 jetted from the head 6. |
