PURPOSE:To correct contraction accompanied by solidification of a raw liquid in a mold cavity, by a method wherein a metallic mold provided with a liquid reservoir communicated to a mold cavity is used, and after pouring a raw liquid into both the cavity and the reservoir, a pressure is exerted on the raw liquid in the reservoir while the liquid is fluid. CONSTITUTION:The metallic mold 1 for a reactive injection molding machine is provided with the liquid reservoir A communicated to the mold cavity 3. When molding, a liquid plastic is poured into the cavity 3 and the reservoir A, and while the plastic is still fluid, the plastic in the reservoir A is pressurized by a planger 7 to correct the contraction accompanied by solidification of the plastic in the cavity 3, thereby preventing ruggedness from being generated at the surfaces of the product. |
