PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method and a measuring device for the inner wall deposit thickness of a pipe capable of quickly and easily measuring the inner wall deposit thickness. SOLUTION: A radiation source 10 radiating radioactive rays and a sensor 20 for detecting the radiation dose from the radiation source 10 are arranged face to face across a measurement pipe 2A to be measured on the line crossing the measurement pipe 2A and passing through its center, and the transmitted radiation dose transmitting the measurement pipe 2A is detected by the sensor 20. The radiation source 10 and the sensor 20 are fitted to the measurement pipe 2A via a measuring jig 30. The transmitted radiation dose of a comparative pipe serving as a measurement reference is likewise measured, and the thickness of the inner wall deposit 3 of the measurement pipe 2A is found from this transmitted radiation dose and the transmitted radiation dose of the measurement pipe 2A.
