The wire-connecting pincers are distinguished by the fact that the rings serving for the wire connection are not fed to the jaw of the pincers from the side, but are pushed between the opened jaw halves from behind. As a result, the jaw of the pincers, which is constructed in the manner of the mouth of a fish, is free on all sides and it is possible to work with the pincers in front of the object, for example wire mesh to be fastened to tension wires, at the ideal working angle of 90 DEG . A ring-advancing mechanism specifically intended for ring feeding extends between the handle halves up to the rear portion of the two jaw halves. To avoid a bulky construction, the ring-feeding rod, which is fastened laterally to the ring-advancing mechanism, is bent backwards arcuately. A specially constructed flexible ring magazine is provided for the bent ring-feeding rod, the said magazine being able to adapt to the bend of the ring-feeding rod.
